Do I have to specify the type of information I am searching for?
No, AOL Mobile Search automatically searches local businesses, web sites, mobile web sites, images, movie show times, news and more.
How do I set the location for my search?
To set or change your location you can either specify your location when you enter your search, Ex: Pizza Norwalk, CT or you can set the location selecting "Set Location" on the search homepage.
How do I filter explicit search results?
SafeSearch is set to "On" by default. You will not see explicit content. You can change the setting to "Off" by going to the Options button at the top of the screen and making the appropriate selection.
You can turn SafeSearch "On" again in the Options menu as well.
Sponsored LinksSponsored links that appear in AOL Search results are listings that have been purchased by companies to have their businesses or Web sites appear for specific terms related to their services. Sponsored links, also sometimes referred to as pay-per-click ads, are administered, sorted and maintained by Google and AOL. For more information on how pay-per-click ads work and how to sign up, go to Adwords.Google.com and AOLMediaNetworks.com/Search.
