Rebranding reflects GSO’s long-standing position as Blackstone’s global credit platform. Blackstone announced today that GSO Capital Partners, our global credit business, is changing its name to Blackstone Credit. When Blackstone first acquired GSO in 2008, the group had $9.6 billion in assets under management and fewer than 150 employees.
