He was the son of Charles V, Roi de France and Jeanne de Bourbon.1 He married Isabelle von Bayern, daughter of Stefan III Herzog von Bayern-Ingolstadt and Thaddea Visconti, on 17 July 1385. He died on 22 October 1422 at age 53 at Paris, France.
