Crapo park is a great park for picnics and sight seeing. It has a lot of variety in flowers, shrubs and trees and areas to get away for some peace and quiet. It also has some great hiking trails and views of the Mississippi river.

The signature parks include Dankwardt Park, which provides an 18-hole disc golf course, municipal pool, off-leash dog park, playgrounds, ball fields, and a variety of other amenities; and the adjacent Crapo Park includes an arboretum, Lake Starker, walking paths, and wonderful views of the Mississippi River from high above the bluff.

Located in beautiful Crapo Park in the south east corner of Burlington, Iowa, the cabin has been open to the public since 1971. Originally built in 1909, the replica cabin was used as a meeting place for the Hawkeye Natives Association. The Cabin is open to the public 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday & Sunday from May thru October.
