The longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall between Ostbahnhof and Oberbaumbrücke has become world famous as the East Side Gallery. After the fall of the Wall, 118 artists from 21 countries created the world's longest open-air gallery on 1.3 kilometers of the former border element.
The East Side Gallery is the largest open-air gallery in the world. At the original Berlin Wall, in a length of about 1300 meters, 118 artists from 21 countries have created 101 images known as the East Side Gallery in 1990. Every year nearly 2-3 million tourists and guests from all over the world visit this unique monument.
