Frederick William (III), Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel ( German: Friedrich Wilhelm Nikolaus Karl, 15 October 1854 – 14 October 1888) was (titular) Elector of Hesse-Kassel . Marriages and Issue In Butzbach on 14 February 1700, Frederick III married firstly Elisabeth Dorothea of Hesse-Darmstadt (Darmstadt, 24 April 1676 - Homburg, 9 September 1721); she was the daughter of Louis VI, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt. They had ten children:   Stillborn daughter (Homburg, 27 November 1700).
