Jerry Yang is a Taiwanese-American internet entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder, and the former CEO of ‘Yahoo! Inc.’. Born in Taiwan, his family moved to United States when he was ten and he learned to speak the English language in the following years. Later, he completed his graduation as well as post-graduation in electrical engineering and applied for his doctoral degree.

Jerry Yang — co-founder of Yahoo! Jerry Yang co-founded Yahoo! Inc. in 1995. He served on the board of directors and as a key member of the executive management team until 2012. While at Yahoo, he led a number of initiatives, including two of the biggest investments in the internet: Yahoo Japan and Alibaba Group.

Yang met Alibaba founder Jack Ma in 1997 on his first trip to China, when Ma was his tour guide sent by the Ministry of Foreign Investment, where Ma was working at the time.

Xao "Jerry" Yang (born 1967) is an ethnic Hmong poker player from Temecula, California and the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event champion. Yang started playing poker in 2005. An amateur player at the time, Yang entered the 2007 World Series of Poker after winning a $225 satellite at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula.
