McConnell Springs Trail. Enjoy this 0.6-mile loop trail near Lexington, Kentucky. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 12 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.

McConnell Springs park is now owned by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and managed by its Division of Parks and Recreation. The Friends of McConnell Springs is alive and well, and has provided guidance, volunteers, additional funding and program management for many activities & additions to the park since the park’s creation.
