Great state park with easy access to the cool sights! We had time to kill before our flight and this park is very close to the airport. We had a great time walking along the river and viewing the falls. The exposed limestone rock was incredible... it almost felt like you were walking on the surface of the moon!

McKinney Falls is located within McKinney Falls State Park, just about 25 minutes outside of Austin, at McKinney Falls Parkway. There are two spots to swim, the Upper Falls and the Lower Falls. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and you must have reservations to enter.
