About the venue. Opening in 1925, the Spanish Baroque-style Music Hall is situated in Fair Park. The 3,420 seat performance hall was formerly the home to Dallas’ first resident performing arts companies, including The Dallas Opera, Dallas Symphony and Fort Worth/Dallas Ballet, and continues to host the Dallas Summer Musicals.

Even if this is the only place you can see a musical, save your money and do not go! We are frequent theatre goers and this place is horrible! We have given Fair Park Music Hall 3 chances, hoping the previous time was just a bad experience. Never again! This place is not a theatre. It holds 3,420 people, that’s a concert venue.
