Robert Z. Leonard was an American film director, producer, and screenwriter who worked for MGM from 1908 to 1957. He directed and produced films such as The Divorcee, The Great Ziegfeld, and The Bribe, and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Director in 1936. He also starred in some films and married Mae Murray in 1918.
