St. Peter's Church ("Peterkirche") is the oldest recorded parish church in Munich. Its bell tower is known as "Alte Peter" (the Old Peter). It's a mix of styles, including Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic. Heavily damaged during WW II, the restoration took a few years. The last to be restored was the ceiling fresco, in the year 2000.
