Technische Universitat (TU) Braunschweig is a public university situated in the Lower Saxony city of Braunschweig in Germany. Originally known as Collegium Carolinum, it was established in 1745 as a mid-way institution between high school and university, teaching technical and mathematical subjects as well as fine arts and humanities.
