The Garden is open 9 AM-5 PM in the Fall/Winter, 9 AM-6 PM daily in the Spring/Summer, and 9 AM -8 PM on Thursdays during the summer. The final entry is 30 minutes prior to closing. The Garden is open to the public 7 days a week, year-round.

Dec 2022 • Family. We visited the Zilker botanical gardens in Dec’22 right after the attic winds moved through the area causing unusually cold weather. We visited with a family with young children and ordered tickets online as they can sell out. E paid $21 dollars for the whole family.
Who We Are. Zilker Botanical Garden is located on 28 acres nestled within Zilker Metropolitan Park in the heart of downtown Austin. Garden Map. Zilker Botanical Garden is managed through a public-private partnership between the City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department (PARD) and the Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy (ZGBC), which manages 30 active garden clubs through the Austin Area Garden Council (AAGC).
Visitor Guidelines. Visitors are welcome to explore designated areas of the 28 fenced acres of Zilker Botanical Garden, and are asked to comply with the following park guidelines. Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated. Do not pick the flowers, or take plant cuttings.
