Our Mission. The California Science Center aspires to stimulate curiosity and inspire science learning in everyone by creating fun, memorable experiences, because we value science as an indispensable tool for understanding our world, accessibility and inclusiveness, and enriching people's lives.

South of downtown Los Angeles, the Science Center is located in historic Exposition Park which is across the street from the Expo Park/USC Station on the Metro Expo Line. By car, the Science Center is two blocks west of the Harbor (110) Freeway at the Exposition Boulevard exit.

The California Science Center (sometimes spelled California ScienCenter) is a state agency and museum located in Exposition Park, Los Angeles, next to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the University of Southern California.

We, 3 adults and 4 children between the ages of 1 and 12, drove up from the San Diego area to visit the California Science Center. The center is conveniently located in downtown Los Angeles with plenty of parking at $12 for the day. There is no entrance fee for the center.
