CarnegieScience.edu showcases the exciting discoveries of our pioneering researchers in astronomy, Earth and planetary science, genetics and developmental biology, global ecology, matter at extremes states, and plant science. It also features our science education programs, and much, much more.
The Carnegie Science Center is the most visited museum in Pittsburgh, and is located along the Ohio River on the North Shore. It has four floors of interactive exhibits totaling over 400 exhibits, and attracts over 700,000 visitors each year.
We visited the Carnegie Science Center mainly to see the Mummies of the World Exhibit, but we purchased a combo ticket which allowed us to spend the day and take in the other exhibits at the Science Center. The Mummies exhibit is very interesting and is done in a respectful way.
