As of April 15,2023 , the hills are green and many poppies scattered across the park. Especially, poppies are dense on top of the hills overlooking the bay. Parking fee is $5.00 a day , clean restrooms inside the visitor center. Visitor center is a good size with tons of information and fun activities for the kids.
Feb 2020 • Family. Enjoyed walking/trekking on Coyote Hills Regional Park. There is a fee per car (and additional cost for dog) to get into the park. During winter period, it can be really cold because of the wind, so be prepared. This is at least half a day event.
