About the Park. Cumberland Mountain State Park is situated on the Cumberland Plateau, a segment of the great upland, which extends from western New York to central Alabama. It is said to be the largest timbered plateau in America.
Cumberland Mountain has a combined total of 145 tent and RV campsites with hookups provided. Thirty and 50-amp service and standard 110-volt outlets are available. The Area 4 campsites and bathhouse are not handicap accessible.

Cumberland Mountain State Park has eight deluxe cabins. These cabins are fully furnished with all dishes, cooking utensils, linens, and central heat and air. Each cabin has two bedrooms and two baths. There is a king-size bed in one bedroom, and two full-size beds in the other bedroom. Each cabin accommodates up to six people.
