Play with purpose at the Glazer Children’s Museum, Tampa’s interactive, learning laboratory where children play, discover, and connect to the world around them to develop as lifelong learners and leaders.
Children need play now more than ever. It offers respite, promotes wellness, and deepens family connections. No matter where you play, we have you covered with fun and imaginative experiences to keep your child learning and engaged!
Visited with kids and grandkids. The museum is 100% for young children and is primarly a play area. We've visited children's museums in multiple states and this was our least favorite. The cost of adult admission is quite high given the adults are there to watch and facllitate play for their kids.
History. The Glazer Children’s Museum’s history dates back to the 1965 opening of Safety Village in Lowry Park and has grown over the years, just like the children we serve. Since the opening of our Downtown building in 2010, GCM has been a landmark along the beautiful Tampa Riverwalk.
This admission is for a full day of play on all three levels of the Museum, including the Big John exhibit. If you’d like to play at GCM in the meantime, you can purchase your daily admission tickets at Guest Services upon your arrival. If you’re a GCM Member, check in at Guest Services upon your arrival.
