The Majestic Theatre is a historic movie theater located at 240–246 Collinsville Ave. in East St. Louis, Illinois. Built in 1928, the theater replaced a 1907 theater which had burned down. The Spanish Gothic theater was designed by the Boller Brothers, who were nationally prominent theater architects.

The Majestic Theatre opened on February 26, 1928 in East St. Louis, Illinois. It was designed by the Boller Brothers for Harry Redmon and Fred Leber. The Boller Brothers were known for the Missouri Theatre in St Joseph, Missouri. The Majestic was nicknamed “The Million Dollar Theatre” due to the high costs of building the theater.
The Majestic Theater opened in 1928, as part of the St. Louis-based Samuel Komm Theatre chain. The theater closed in 1960. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
Majestic Theatre was built in East St. Louis in 1928. At the time it was a highly acclaimed theatre, with innovative advances that were unlike other theatres in the city. The theatre closed in 1960, and remains closed today.
