Marcus Bontempelli (born 24 November 1995) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He has served as Western Bulldogs captain since the 2020 season, and was previously the vice-captain from 2018 to 2019.

Taken with pick number four in the 2013 National Draft, Bontempelli made his AFL debut in Round 5, 2014. The former Northern Knight is proficient around the contest, has a damaging left foot and possesses the ability to hit the scoreboard. He was also a key member of the Club’s 2016 drought-breaking premiership.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Marcus Bontempelli, the former number four draft pick who was living up to the hype. A few days after claiming his first premiership medallion, the 21-year-old won the club's best and fairest award. Five years on, and Bontempelli is now the Dogs' captain and talisman.
