Mar 2015. UM's Matthaei Botanical Gardens is a great place to go for a quick retreat from campus/city life. I have visited numerous times and always head home feeling relaxed and at peace. The conservatory is my favorite place to visit in the winter time when the grey and cold gets to be too much.
The University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens includes botanical gardens, natural areas with trails, and several research-quality habitats and is part of the organization Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum.
