MIA is a cultural landmark housed in an expansive facility along with the Children's Theatre Company and adjacent to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Aside from spectacular blockbuster exhibits mounted several times a year, the permanent collections are among the best in the nation. General admission is free.
