Transit services to OHSU includes TriMet, Portland Streetcar, C-TRAN and Portland Aerial Tram. All public transit is ADA accessible. TriMet, Streetcar and C-TRAN all use a fare system called Hop. The Aerial Tram’s BIKETOWN bike share station is the second highest used out of the 100 stations. Over 1000 riders use the two Portland Streetcar stations at the base of the tram each weekday. The Portland Aerial Tram has made half a million trips and carried over 16 million people.

Bike valet is offered free to the public at Portland Aerial Tram Monday through Friday. Exiting the upper terminal you'll see the largest enclosed sky bridge in North America. Take a right to access an outdoor patio with seating and views of the terminal, the cityscape, the Willamette River and, on a clear day, Mount Hood and Mount St Helens.

The Portland Aerial Tram is back open to the public! Effective May 9th, 2022, everyone is allowed to ride Portland’s tram again on Monday through Saturday. For over two years, the tram has been limited to “essential” travel only as we faced restrictions from the pandemic. Be prepared to pay to ride the tram from both up and down the hill.
