Prince Augustus William of Prussia ( German: August Wilhelm; 9 August 1722 – 12 June 1758) was the son of King Frederick William I of Prussia and a younger brother and general of Frederick the Great . Augustus was the second surviving son of Frederick William I and Sophia Dorothea.

Prince August Wilhelm of Prussia was most famous for being the eldest son of King Frederick William III of Prussia and Queen Louise of Prussia. He was born on 18 September 1794, and was named after his father. He was also the heir to the throne of Prussia, but he died in 1831 at the age of 36.
