The Paul's Military School or Pavel Military School was a military school in St. Petersburg, Russia, established in 1863 on the basis of the Paul's Cadet Corps. It was closed in November 1917 after the October Revolution. It was named after emperor Paul I.

In 1887, he was appointed junior officer at the Pavlovsk Military School. In 1889, he was promoted to captain, in the same year he was renamed the staff captain of the guard, in 1892 to captain of the guard. In 1898, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel and appointed battalion commander of the Pavlovsk Military School.

Biography Tserpitsky came from hereditary noblemen of the Grodno Governorate . He graduated from the 2nd St. Petersburg Military Gymnasium (1865) and the 1st Pavlovsk Military School (1867). He participated in campaigns in Turkestan in 1873, 1875–1876, 1878 and 1880. In 1875 – captain of the 3rd West Siberian Line Battalion.

KRASNOV, PYOTR NIKOLAYEVICH (1869 – 1947), Cossack ataman, anti-Bolshevik leader, and author. Son of a Cossack general, Pyotr Krasnov was born in St. Petersburg and educated at Pavlovsk Military School, graduating in 1888. During World War I, he rose to the rank of lieutenant-general and to the command of the Third Cavalry Corps in August 1917.
