Richard Vershaun Seymour (born October 6, 1979) is an American professional poker player and former professional football player who was a defensive end  in the National Football League (NFL) . He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs, and was drafted by the New England Patriots sixth overall in the 2001 NFL Draft .
