Judy appeared on Adam Forkner's first solo album in 2003. He also is a member of Isaac Brock 's side project Ugly Casanova . As of 2016 Judy played in the Seattle-based Rudy Waltz  As of 2021, he owns a bookstore in Seattle with his wife Desirae Wilkerson.
Our Story. In 1955, two Georgia neighbors opened up a restaurant that would change the world. Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner were living in Avondale Estates, GA, when they decided to open a 24-hour, sit-down restaurant for their friends and neighbors, focused on people on both sides of the counter.
The museum includes a re-creation of that first restaurant Joe and Tom opened on Labor Day, 1955, and is filled with more than 60 years of Waffle House memorabilia. Waffle House opened its first location in 1955 in Avondale, Georgia. The founders were Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner. Tom Forkner advised Joe Rogers Sr. to name the business Waffle House because their waffles were the main food item on the menu. Furthermore, customers purchased more waffles on the menu than any other item.
