Viktor Fedorovych Bilash (Ukrainian: Віктор Федорович Білаш; 1893 – 24 January 1938) was the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Insurgent Army of Ukraine (RIAU) under Nestor Makhno.
Viktor Fedorovych Bilash was the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Insurgent Army of Ukraine under Nestor Makhno. A gifted military commander, Bilash himself planned many of the Insurgent Army's operations, later becoming its commander in chief after Makhno's flight into exile.
Leaving Viktor Bilash in command of the insurgent core in Ukraine, Makhno set off on 13 August, taking with him his wife and his black sotnia - consisting of 100 cavalry. On 16 August, they crossed the Dnieper, under constant pursuit by the Red cavalry, which wounded Makhno even further.
