Warner Bros. Pictures is an American film production and distribution company of the Warner Bros. Pictures Group division of Warner Bros. Entertainment (both ultimately owned by Warner Bros. Discovery).

Warner Bros. Pictures is also a global leader in the marketing and distribution of feature films, operating offices in more than 30 countries and releasing films in over 120 international territories, either directly to theaters or in conjunction with partner companies and co-ventures.

The company is known for its film studio division, the Warner Bros. Pictures Group, which includes Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, the Warner Animation Group, Castle Rock Entertainment, and DC Studios. Among its other assets, stands the television production company Warner Bros. Television Studios.

The studio was incorporated as Warner Bros' Pictures Incorporated on April 4, 1923, making it the third oldest American movie studio in continuous operation, after Paramount Pictures (founded on May 8, 1912 as Famous Players Film Corporation) and Universal Pictures (founded on June 8, 1912).

Warner Brothers, in full Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., formerly called Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc., and Warner Bros., Inc., American entertainment conglomerate founded in 1923 and especially known for its film studio. In 1990 it became a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc. Warner Brothers’ headquarters are in Burbank, California.
