Places to be on Wikimapia. Rules for places: Non-movable places that exist at this moment of time. Examples of what should be on the map: • All visible objects (buildings, lakes, rivers, roads, harbor facilities etc.) • Newly constructed buildings, which are not visible on the satellite image. When placing such items, make sure to be accurate!

As rightly pointed out by many users, the mobile app lacks even the basic wikimapia functions, "Search" being the foremost requirement. It should, unquestioningly, have been there.
