Willard Van Dyke was an American photographer and documentary filmmaker, well known for his role as a founding member of Group f.64, a collective of photographers dedicated to the creation of “pure” and unmanipulated imagery. Born in Denver in 1905, and eventually moving to California, Van Dyke was inspired by the landscapes of the west.
