Anaheim (/ ˈ æ n ə h aɪ m / AN-ə-hyme) is a city in Orange County, California, part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area.As of the 2020 United States Census, the city had a population of 346,824, making it the most populous city in Orange County, the 10th-most populous city in California, and the 56th-most populous city in the United States.
The community grew quickly and by 1974 the Orange Unified School District had constructed a high school to serve the growing community. In 1990, the city of Anaheim approved several large developments surrounding Weir Canyon Road (East Hills and The Highlands) expanding the community toward the 241 toll road.
