An Access ID is an id that you would create by going through a registration on the main att.com site. This type of id would allow you to have multiple accounts (U-Verse, wireless, etc..) connected to one user id. If you do not have multiple accounts, it wouldn't be necessary to create an Access ID.
If you are approved for the federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and would like to apply your ACP benefit to Access from AT&T, you do not need to submit this application. You can only assign your wireless number to one user ID. If your number is already assigned to an ID, you must delete it from that ID before you can assign it to a different ID.
