Last year's celebration was online-only, but First Night Boston for 2022 is returning to in-person events, bringing hours of performances back to the Back Bay along with ice sculptures, the People's Procession and fireworks.

In keeping with this fantastic Boston tradition, the First Night celebration will open 2022 with an array of performances. The celebration kicks off at noon on December 31st with live performances centered around Copley Square. In the afternoon and evening, the ice sculptures light up and live bands begin to play.

First Night Boston, boasted as New England’s biggest New Year’s Eve party, typically includes hours of entertainment and performances by local artists, ice sculptures, a parade and fireworks.
