Settings may be in a different location in each email client, though the AOL server and port settings will always be the same. For additional questions specific to the email client, check the manufacturer’s website. Manufacturers cannot answer questions about your AOL Mail settings, or your AOL username or password.
solved see comment below. this is a long running problem of syncing aol email with microsoft email app. all was working fine until a little exclamation mark appeared next to one of my 5 aol accounts on microsoft email app. i did nothing to allow this to happen, it was random
If you have the issue 'ATTENTION REQUIRED' on your AOL email on your PC Windows 10 under email accounts, this will fix that issue as well but you will still need to do it on each device! I found the problem, the sync was choking on a single email in one of my folders. I deleted it and the sync errors have disappeared. Report abuse
