Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) was a national Catholic healthcare system, with headquarters in Englewood, Colorado. CHI was a nonprofit, faith-based health system formed, in 1996, through the consolidation of three Catholic health systems. It was one of the United States ' largest healthcare systems. Catholic Health Initiatives, the nation’s third-largest Catholic health care system, has awarded 22 grants totaling more than $5 million for improving the health of communities in the U.S. and around the world. Half the grants and 52% of the grant funds are devoted to violence prevention initiatives.
Catholic Health Initiatives is a non-profit and faith-based health system that aims to creating and nurturing healthy communities. It is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems. CHI operates in 18 states and comprises 99 hospitals, including two academic health centers, major teaching hospitals and 29 critical-access facilities;
Trinity Health is one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation, serving diverse communities that include more than 30 million people across 22 states. Trinity Health includes 92 hospitals, 18 clinically integrated networks, 13 PACE centers and 100 continuing care locations.
