Jury Services Jury The United States Constitution and the Arizona State Constitution guarantee the right to trial by jury. All Maricopa County residents are obligated by state law to serve as a juror, unless excused. Being on a jury is a rewarding experience, and your participation is appreciated. Thank you for serving your community.
Arizona has pioneered many successful jury reform measures, such as jurors being allowed to ask written questions of witnesses in the court; jurors being allowed to discuss evidence (in civil cases) during the course of the trial; juror note taking and juror notebooks in lengthy or complex trials; and supplemental pay for long trials.
National eJuror Program. Potential jurors can respond to their jury qualification questionnaire or summons online through the website of the local court that summoned them to jury duty. The national eJuror Program gives potential jurors the flexibility of responding online to their jury qualification questionnaire. Jurors choosing to complete these forms electronically don’t have to mail them.

Facilities All restrooms in the Superior Court complexes are accessible to physically challenged jurors. Entrances to all court locations have ramps nearby. The courthouse is a nonsmoking environment.
