Just 16 miles from downtown San Diego, the campuses are easily accessible. Cuyamaca College is on a 165-acre site in Rancho San Diego, south of the city of El Cajon. Grossmont College is on a 135-acre mesa in northwest El Cajon, adjacent to the cities of Santee, La Mesa and San Diego.

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District will provide opportunities for students to enroll in courses at Grossmont College or Cuyamaca College while they are enrolled in high school. Permission from the high school administrator and parental approval must be obtained prior to registration.
