I'm getting the same when I log into google keep. I get 2 emails and two other notifications on my phone since about 4 days. Using Firefox and clearing cookies like I have always done - I refuse to keep the cookies untouched as I don't want that level of tracking and surveillance.
Gmail is a popular webmail service which is a product of Google. Sometimes, POP accounts delete email on the server after it is downloaded to the device. Here’s my advice: Just to be safe, log into gmail.com before you delete your Gmail account from your iPhone and make sure all of your email is there. If you see the mail on the web interface, it’s on the server.
