Find My iPhone My Friends was added to iCloud alongside the launch of iOS 5, allowing users to share their current location with their friends or family. iOS 6 added location-based alerts to notify the user when a device arrives at a certain location. On iOS 9 and 10, Find My Friends is built into iOS and cannot be removed.
In Find My iPhone on iCloud.com, click All Devices, then select the device you want to remove. If you don’t see All Devices, it’s because you’ve already selected a device. Click the name of the current device in the center of the toolbar to see the Devices list, then select a new device.

Find My iPhone and Find My Friends are still preinstalled and available on iOS 9 and later. Some features are not available in all countries or regions. Find My can locate AirPods and play a sound if they are within Bluetooth range of an iOS device signed in to iCloud. Some features may not be available for all countries or all areas.
iCloud Activation Lock: a security service released by Apple Inc. Granted that one has set up Find My iPhone, the information of Apple ID will associate the Apple activation server with the device. When the device is robbed or lost, activation locks will prevent iPhone from being activated.
How to Find Lost or Forgotten iCloud Email ID. To find a forgotten or lost iCloud / Apple ID, following steps need to be followed: Go to the same link as mentioned in the previous guideline. Don’t enter an email ID in the field, rather click on the ‘Forgot Apple ID?’ button right underneath that blank field.
