Customers can access a search for case number by party or defendant name in the Los Angeles Superior Court via a secure web server. Name searches incur a public access fee to reimburse the Court for the costs of providing public access to its electronic records (California Rule of Court 2.506 and Government Code Section 68150 (l)).
Finding Los Angeles County court records is possible using the California court system website at https://www.courts.ca.gov/, and even easier through Los Angeles County court records search tools like Infotracer. With just a name search, the user can review hundreds of available court records and cases from any Los Angeles County court.
You can access up to 14 days of a courtroom's calendar to find your court date for general jurisdiction civil, limited jurisdiction civil, family law and probate calendars. In compliance with Code of Civil Procedure section 1161.2, Unlawful Detainer case information is not available to the public for the first 60 days.
