here is how -no help from microsoft!! login in to aol account ( the one you cant use on outlook) on a browser. click on the username on the top right of the page (you email name) select "account security" scroll to the bottom and tap "manage app passwords" tap the drop down menu "select your app" select "outlook desktop" tap "generate"
