To sign in to Outlook on the web using your work or school account in Microsoft 365: Go to the Microsoft 365 sign-in page or to Outlook.com . Enter the email address and password for your account.

Click Sign in. This blue button is below the text field. Doing so will sign you into Outlook where you should see your Outlook inbox awaiting you. Before clicking Sign in, you may optionally check the "Keep me signed in" box to stay logged into your Outlook account for next time.
Go to the gear at the top right of webmail for Outlook 365 (outlook.office.com) and select "View all Outlook settings" at the bottom. Then go to "General" and then "Storage." It will then show the size and count of messages for each email folder. I haven't found where you can see the total count of Contacts or Calendar items.
