Welcome to PowerSchool Parent Portal. All Parents/Guardians - If you have not created your own account on the Parent Portal, or added all your children to your account, or if you need to edit your email address , now is a good time. Launch the Parent Portal to log in or create your account.
PowerSchool Single Sign-On Setup Video. To “Create an Account” you will need the Access ID and Access Password received from AVS for each child, an email address, a username (NOT an email address), and a password you create. Note that the Access ID and Access PW are case sensitive.

Sign up by calling your local school office to get a code, go to prsd.ab.ca, click the waffle button (square button with 9 boxes inside) on the top right-hand side of the divisional website, or any of our school websites, and choose "Powerschool Student and Parent Portal" or Sign up here.

With the old PowerSchool Parent Portal, it required a school code to create your mobile account. Parent Backpack is mobile compliant and the Parent can log in with their email and password. To access Parent Backpack, go HERE and create an account.
