Here's what I found that worked. Go to the settings menu, then applications, then manage applications, then all (at the top), then touch the preinstalled email icon (envelope with green @), then clear the data and cache. By doing this you will have to reinstall your email accounts, but this worked for me and my AOL email was back in business.

login in to aol account ( the one you cant use on outlook) on a browser click on the username on the top right of the page (you email name) select "account security" scroll to the bottom and tap "manage app passwords" tap the drop down menu "select your app" select "outlook desktop" tap "generate"
