Student Access. An application within NCEdCloud that provides information on student progress such as grades, attendance, and course registration information. The Parent Portal is particularly helpful in monitoring student progress. Student Login: Go to the CMS Student Portal and click the NCEdCloud PowerSchool button.

Student Email. Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) provides Google Mail (GMail) accounts for students in grades Pre-K to 13 for use in conjunction with coursework and day-to-day educational activities. The service offers a confidential and secure channel for students to communicate with CMS teachers and administrators.

Student Login Walkthrough. Students should log in to their Chromebook using their student email and Google password. For example if your Student’s ID is 12345678 their email is; 12345678@student.cms.k12.nc.us.

For students: ONE Access, or “One Number Equals Access,” uses students' school identification numbers instead of separate library cards. With their ONE Access account, students can: Access Library research databases. Borrow digital materials such as e-books, e-audiobooks, magazines, music and video.

CMS staff and students will start using the CMS LaunchPad ClassLink to access CMS resources. This allows students and staff to securely access all their classroom applications such as Google Drive, Canvas, and Sora through their CMS email address and password.
