I called USCIS to find out if the first case had been sent and why I didn't get an update. The lady I spoke with, Hannah, wouldn't confirm whether the first case had been shipped, said it could take 30-90 days for a case to be sent to the NVC and if I hadn't heard anything after 90 days, and only then, I should call back.
