Outlook on the Web (formerly called OWA) is a service for Cornell faculty and staff to access their email and calendar on the web. It works with most popular browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
Subscribing to an iCal online calendar connects it to your calendar. Whenever the owner of an iCal you've subscribed to makes changes to the events, Outlook on the web updates your calendar. This is a good way to track events that change frequently, like movie times or a school calendar.
When you add an email address or domain to your blocked senders list, Outlook on the webautomatically moves messages from that sender to the Junk Email folder. Note: You can have up to 1,024 addresses or domains in the blocked senders and safe senders lists.

The changes made in the Outlook client are first stored in the OST file and then synched with the Exchange or mailbox server based on the Outlook settings. On the other hand, Outlook Web App or OWA runs on a compatible web browser, such as Google Chrome, and connects to the mailbox server directly.
In the navigation pane on the left, select Outlook Web App version, and then clear the Use the Light Version of Outlook Web App checkbox. Select Save at the top of the page.
